Freedom House Empty Bowls

EMPTY BOWL DINNERS

What: Hosting congregation provide the soup and drinks, and help staff the event. Local
professional potters and art students make and donate their works of art to Freedom
House. Guests arrive and pick a bowl of their choosing as a way to remember those in our
own community that face the issue of hunger.

Tickets: $20 per person (tickets go on sale at 43rd Street Festival of the Arts and are then
available through the hosting congregation)

THE PROBLEM IS THAT A LOT OF TIMES, A GIRL GIVES HER HEART AWAY, EXPECTING THAT HER MAN WILL GIVE HIS IN RETURN, AND FULFILL ALL HER DREAMS. BUT THEN, TIME PASSES, AND PASSES, AND PASSES. DREAMS ARE STILL DREAMS. SHE REALIZES HE ISN'T THE ONE. BUT HER HEART IS ALREADY GONE...

Not even a photograph can portray the extense of lightning's beauty and power.
